Rehab Alternatives is hiring a full-time healthcare Staffing Specialist to recruit top-tier allied health professionals in physical, occupational and speech therapy. Nurse recruitment experience is a plus! You’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of over two dozen clients including skilled nursing facilities, out-patient rehab centers, hospitals and homecare partners.
The ideal candidate will have prior healthcare recruitment and/or account management experience in allied health or nursing. You’ll be working collaboratively with a staffing team of 5 highly trained individuals. Success in this role requires positive energy, relationship building, creative thinking and abundant resourcefulness.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Full lifecycle recruitment of healthcare professionals to maintain active candidate pipeline
- Management of client staffing requisitions
- Utilize various methods and tools to source and screen candidate
- Actively utilize new and innovative ways to market open assignments
- Conduct phone, virtual or in-person interviews and screenings of applicants to ensure each caregiver meets the required qualifications needed prior to on-boarding by Compliance Specialist
- Collaborate with Management to assist implementation of facility-specific staffing strategies
- Become an expert in the field of recruitment, staffing, and account management
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4-5 years experience in healthcare recruitment, staffing and/or account management
- Experience recruiting in Acute Care and/or Sub-Acute space
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Word, Excel, Google Apps, CRM & ATS recruitment software

Once qualified, you’ll pass these leads onto Staffing and Recruitment Specialists. If successful, you’ll be tasked with strategizing ad-hoc lead gen and recruitment initiatives to enhance candidate engagement.
