- Coney Island Friday Night Fireworks

- Luna Park
Luna Park is an amusement park in Coney Island, Brooklyn, opened in 1903. Fun for the whole family it is open Friday to Sunday from 10AM – 12AM and Monday to Thursday from 11AM -10PM. For children and kids under 48” it is $40 online and for adults 48” and taller the cost is $65.
- Brooklyn Bridge Park
The Empire Fulton Ferry section in the park’s north end features a rolling grass lawn, picnic meadow, scenic beach overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge, and the lovingly restored Jane’s Carousel. This is a great place to take kids but is also nearby the newly opened Time Out Market where you can find great bars and an amazing variety of food that is fit for a city known as the “melting pot” of the world.
Feel like rock climbing? Walk toward Main Street and try DUMBO Boulders, the largest outdoor bouldering area in North America.
- Brooklyn Academy of Music
The R&B Festival located on the lawn at MetroTech Commons (situated between Jay St. and Flatbush Ave.) is a music lovers dream come true. The concert is held every Thursday at 12:00PM during the Summer and is free to the public.
- Outdoor Camping at Prospect Park
Every year the Urban Park Rangers run a program in which people have a chance to learn how to camp. It’s a family-friendly event, where kids can learn about the basics of camping and the Rangers provide dinner. There are only 30 spots available, and selection is done by online lottery.
